Amazon Blocks Grok Bot; Musk Offers to Insure Orders and Muses About a Competitor

Amazon cut off Musk's shopping agent over unauthorized AI access, and Musk's response escalated the platform-versus-agent standoff.

Amazon has blocked Grok Bot from operating on its platform, citing unauthorized AI access, according to a report from @lylyjlcx. Elon Musk's reply was characteristically combative: he twice vouched for the bot's usefulness, pledged that SpaceX would fully reimburse users if Grok Bot placed an erroneous order, and floated the idea of building a competing marketplace altogether.
