Anthropic has offered its clearest numbers yet on how much of its own work is now done by its own models. Roughly 30,000 internal agents were doing research and engineering work concurrently in August, according to @marcopapa99. Separately, an Anthropic 'R&D Automation Index' cited by @mikogen claims that Claude now 'leads' 26% of the company's internal AI R&D work end-to-end.
