Independent developers pushed live updates to an AI-agent MMO and open-sourced an agent with a Slack conversation gateway.

Away from the corporate launches, independent builders are shipping agent tooling at a steady clip. One developer got "HermesWorld v2" working on the web, billing it as a major update to what it calls the first AI-agent MMO — a persistent world populated by autonomous agents rather than human players.
