The Multi-Agent Orchestration Layer Is Becoming the Real Product
Developers are increasingly building on tools that command fleets of specialized agents — Claude, Codex, and others working in concert — signaling a shift from picking a model to conducting an ensemble.
The interesting work is moving up a layer, away from which model you use and toward how many you can coordinate at once. @AlexFinn described running an "army of AI agents" through an orchestration tool called Buzz, with Codex, Claude Code, Hermes, and OpenClaw agents all working together on the same workflow. The framing — commanding an ensemble rather than prompting a single assistant — captures where a growing segment of builders now believe the leverage lives.
