Amazon Kills the Sam Altman Biopic Starring Andrew Garfield
Amazon has pulled Luca Guadagnino's 'Artificial,' a biopic about the OpenAI CEO, in one of the stranger crossover moments between Silicon Valley and Hollywood.
Amazon announced it will no longer release "Artificial," the Luca Guadagnino-directed Sam Altman biopic starring Andrew Garfield, as @EW reported. The project had attracted significant attention for its Hollywood pedigree — Guadagnino directed "Call Me by Your Name" and "Challengers" — and for the inherent tension of Amazon, a major AI competitor to OpenAI, producing a film about Altman.
