Newspeak IDE Demo Shows AI Modifying a Running System in Real Time

Gilad Bracha demoed an AI integration in the Newspeak programming language IDE that modifies live systems, evaluates code, and runs the debugger — a glimpse of what deeply embedded AI-assisted programming looks like beyond autocomplete.

A demo from @Gilad_Bracha — the creator of the Newspeak programming language and a veteran of Sun Microsystems and Google — showed AI modifying a running system in real time within the Newspeak IDE. The AI evaluates code, runs the debugger, and makes live changes to the system while it executes.
