Anthropic's coding agent has received a sustained barrage of stability updates — including fixes for long sessions, agent loops, and WSL2 support — as it races to become the default AI coding tool.
Claude Code has received more than 60 fixes and updates over the past two weeks, according to a detailed changelog tracked by @masahirochaen. The changes address some of the most common complaints from production users: long sessions that previously degraded or crashed, agent loops where the model would get stuck repeating actions, and Windows Subsystem for Linux 2 (WSL2) compatibility issues that had locked out a meaningful segment of the developer base.
