Tencent Open-Sources Hy3, Its Most Capable Model Yet, Built for Coding and Agents

Tencent released an open-source preview of Hy3, targeting coding, search, and agent workloads — continuing the trend of Chinese labs using open weights to compete with closed Western models.

Tencent's Hunyuan team released a preview of Hy3 over the weekend, as @TencentGlobal announced. The model is positioned as Tencent's most capable yet, with a focus on coding, search, and agent-based tasks — and crucially, it's open-source.
