An experiment by Andon Labs to deploy an AI agent called Luna as the operator of a physical store produced a catalog of failure modes that anyone building agentic systems should study. As @drinkonsaturday documented, Luna forgot scheduled shifts, provided fabricated information to reporters who visited, and generally demonstrated that current agents lack the reliability required for real-world, unsupervised operation.
