OpenAI released what it calls an "Industrial Policy for the Intelligence Age" on Monday, a sweeping document that proposes a new social contract to manage the economic disruption of superintelligent AI. The full document was published on OpenAI's website, and Sam Altman personally previewed the effort to Axios, telling reporter @mikeallen that he feels "such URGENCY about the power of coming AI models" that a New Deal-style framework is necessary.
