New quarterly safety data from Tesla puts FSD (Supervised) at one major accident per 5.3 million miles, compared to 660,000 for the average US driver.
Tesla published its latest safety report showing that vehicles running FSD (Supervised) averaged 5.3 million miles between accidents involving an airbag deployment, compared to the US national average of approximately 660,000 miles. As @Tesla reported, this represents roughly a 9x safety advantage. @herbertong noted the numbers show "AI is driving much farther between serious accidents."
